BASE64 to BMP converter

Base64 is a method for encoding binary data into a text-based format that is easily exchangeable over text protocols like email or HTTP. Base64 encoding converts binary data into ASCII text by mapping it to a set of 64 characters. This makes it possible to send binary files as text, allowing them to be stored, transmitted, and displayed as plain text.

BMP (bitmap image file) files are lossless & uncompressed. They retain as much detail as possible, that's why they are larger (filesize). It is a raster graphics image file format.
